Toronto 0-0 Galaxy

1) I’m using my imagination to picture what it might be like to actually be able to create the occasional scoring chance. In my imagination, it’s really pretty.

-AND-

2) The second half sucked much less than the first.

I need to go do dinner with friends. (I got them to delay the meet-up time till 6:45 so I could see the whole game.) More later.

Chris, at least in Serie A they attack later ;-) . Although, I agree, its not my kind of ball.

And, is this something I should get used to, is the defending on these teams consciously impact driven (and a bit clumsy at that)? I'm accustomed to really rough--even dirty--in the other leagues I follow, especially in frustrating or critical matches, but some of these tackles seemed as if the general policy is to go for a more permanent than temporary knock out. Is that off base?

When did the Galaxy join the Serie A? This whole concept of defend-first, attack-later is ugly, to say the least. Second, could we PLEASE maintain possession beyond 5-6 touches?!? We were lucky to escape with a point.

Did your fantasy include Galaxy players in their own half? Oh, yeah and shooting...2nd half did show more courage but not much more sense. Did put Toronto on places to visit list though :-) .
