Galaxy vs. FC Seoul Tonight at 11:30 on FSC
By: Laurie | February 29th, 2008
A huge thanks to George for that little date/time reminder, or I would have missed this entirely.
That Galaxy game is scheduled for tonight (yes, tonight, Feb. 29) at 11:30 Pacific. Be there!
I’m not sure that I’ll be liveblogging, but I’ll definitely be watching the game with my computer on, so feel free to stop by and leave comments.
It also looks like they’ll be doing a replay of the game tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:00 p.m.
Does anybody know if Celestine Babayaro’s work permit issues have been cleared up yet? I’m looking forward to seeing him play. Ruiz too, believe it or not.

Wonder about the weather for the game – If I’m not mistaken, Korea’s gotten tons of snow this winter, and this month. And the news shots of Pyongyang (100 miles north of Seoul?) from last week’s performance of the NY Philharmonic Orchestra showed iced-over streets and high snowbanks. Far cry from Hawaii.
LA Times weather line for Seoul says high of 38 low of 19 and partly cloudy. Brrr.

Kevin Harmse rumored to have been traded to TFC. “No links yet, but this has been confirmed by Paul Bierne (Director) of TFC. I don’t have confirmation on what LA gets but rumour is a 4th round draft pick.” I found this tidbit on the TFC & LAG sections of another soccer board. I hope it’s true because Harmse had turned into a liability.

I must add that Harmse is certainly worth much more than a 4th round draft pick (if all this is true). Really poor management by Lalas/Bravo. Still happy to see him go though.

I had a feeling he’d be going to Toronto. They need Canadians a lot more than we do.

I’ve never been a fan of Harmse, just a liability with his play. Glad to see him go!

Hey Glen, here’s one link that might work for you. They do have it listed but no link to game as of this moment. You’ll find it listed about halfway down the page. Good luck!

Glen, here is a second site that will stream the game. The site I’ve linked here and the site linked above require a pc (sorry mac people – like myself). This second site has the game listed in the TV Guide section under soccer. Good luck with either site!

No Harmse? Scratch another LAG from the salary list Laurie.

Finally, there is a third site that offers a stream of the game. Two links – first link is the game link – second link is the software & instructions. That’s it. One of these three sites is bound to work properly.
