I’m off to Canada

I can resist anything but temptation. In the end I couldn’t stand the thought of not going when the Galaxy were playing within driving distance. So I’ve got my tickets and my hotel reservation and I’m off. (Actually should have left an hour ago.)

I’ll tell you all about it when I get back tomorrow!

  And the engaged couple! And ice again? Plastic turf or should I relaunch my what the hell is really going on with that foot campaign. No, too boring. I’m ready to move on to whether I remember Ruud Gullit being sort of temperamental as a coach or whether that a rumor to mask why Chelsea dumped him. And why did Chelsea dump him? Scratch last two questions if a different coach is announced by the time you get back, Laurie.

  Looks like Gullit’s been confirmed by the Galaxy. Whatever happened in his past jobs, that Dutch School training philosophy won’t hurt anyone (and is probably what a lot of MLS players grew up with in some form or another).
