WTF does it take to get Cronin on the bench! Damn, give Wicks a chance. He did well with the one chance he’s had to prove himself, why not give him a chance in this game? At least Cronin showed signs of improvement in that game against Dallas.

Well, so much for the Open Cup. That’s fine. We can focus on the league. On the bright side, Jazic was back in the starting lineup and Ruiz played 63 minutes. And my boy Mikey Randolph got some playing time again!

i quite agree with you Diane..but i still prefer Bentley do the talking with his feet. and Beckham..we’ve NEVER heard him saying bad things to anyone (Sir Alex, Ramon Calderon, the media etc, etc) even if he deserves to do so, haven’t we? but don’t worry..i don’t believe Becks hates/dislike Bentley at all. what is the most important to Becks is England. in fact i believe Becks likes, even feels amuse towards Bentley.

Box, I see your point, but also notice how mis-quoted and edited Bentley’s remarks are. Not saying he isn’t cocky, but he’s always been clear that Becks was his idol and is now his role model (apparently not in terms of comments to the press, but nonetheless…). Even these quotes are bits of a current interview in which he said how hard it is going to be to try to make Becks’ position his own, and how much he still has to prove. Another case of a “story” that can be twisted to sell even better than a young player readying himself to take over a position. Most players talk about speak about it when they take on an iconic role or shirt number. Also remember that Beckham has said he likes his spirit — as he defended Rooney and other young England players for being passionate even if they hadn’t learned how to reign it in yet. Of course Bentley is not 18, but it goes without saying that Beckham has more patience than I do .

i hate Bentley! (for his big-mouth! his arrogance! his cockiness! his disrespectful towards senior players, well, more to Becks! and England! for his obvious, main intention of getting rid of Becks and personal achievements rather than playing for England! his big-headed attitude! – EVERYTIME there’s an international game coming up!)
..but i love his play, i have to, cause he’s the one who’s gonna replace Becks (and maybe an England’s future)..but not now. not now. now is the time for him and Becks to play together. is that so hard for him to do? he needs to learn to be patient – it’s only for 2 more years or less than that, then he can achieve his dream. even his play hasn’t reach THAT level yet. if he is sooo good, Capello will pick him eventually.
so please just shut up – about everything – and let your feet do the talking will ya!

And Justin, as far as I know the Open Cup is a single elimination tournament. So it’s do or die tonight I suppose.
