Here we have a fun photo of Josh Tudela from Saturday’s match. (Is anybody else happy he shaved? And am I the only one to like the headband? Why do I like the sight of players in headbands so much?)

But anyhoo. I believe the goal in this game was his first one professionally, which makes me all maternally proud. Seems like just yesterday that I was writing his “Welcome to the Galaxy, Josh Tudela” post.

They grow up so fast.

  I assured her he doesn’t. But the headband, I’m in agreement. IMHO Long hair looks awesome when it’s in Edgar Dvids, Ruud Gullit, CoJones styles (i.e. dreads or ‘rows)… otherwise, in socal you’re just asking for dehydration problems… and if you’re slower on the pitch for it, you’re not getting paid to backpass, dammit. And for the shorter maned gents, if all those OCD turf/finger kissin’ rites ain’t making you rack up goals, one needs to consider medication.

  once again stymied by tee vee and I’m jut ornery cuz I missed the boys playin in paradise.
