Galaxy Fans, Give Me Your Thoughts
By: Laurie | April 8th, 2008Yesterday I got an email from a Toronto blogger asking for a preview of the game from our perspective. It asked questions like, “What do you think LA’s starting xi and formation will be?” and “Who’s on form?”
And I’m thinking, “Umm…yeah. I’ve been out of the country for the two opening games. Like I have a clue.”
Jen has graciously offered to step in and help me out with a response (which I’ll post for you tomorrow,) but I’d also like to hear your responses. So tell me how you’d answer these questions:

Donovan - GordonAre you happy with Ruud Gullit so far? Happy is perhaps strong. It is too early to judge. He clearly knows the game and brings a good regimen to the team, but he has made some questionable choices so far.
Does anyone scare you on Toronto? Kevin Harmse for his ability to injure. Thankfully he is suspended for that particular skill. Maurice Edu perhaps.

I totally agree with David, except the part about ruud gullit. He has definetly helped the galaxy and the improvement was easy to see in the past game.

Harmse’s suspension is exactly why we got rid of him. I am hoping Jazic makes his way out of L.A. as well. Edu is scary and possibly Laurent(?) if he is in the lineup.
Gullit is doing great actually, the preseason tour was too much and players needed more training time. Donovan needs to show up to every game this year, he won’t be able to fade as long as Beckham is sending passes his way. It will be interesting to see how our offense picks up when Pescado is back.
We should win, but who knows.Posted from

Does anyone scare you on Toronto? No, but if they finalize the Guevarra deal, maybe him.

What do you think LA’s starting xi and formation will be? Don’t start Xavier. We can’t afford to have two old slow CB at least till Pires feels better with his central holding role. I hope Ruud will start with Vanney or X,for now Vanney looks better.

Very!!! Man knows what he wants,he knows how his team should look like,even if we still isn’t there…it’s always good to know where to go last season we didn’t.

If we play our football..no. (our football means no Vegenas,no stupid mestakes,no half game mental breaks). Nobody should scares team that wants to win something this seson

Are you happy with Ruud Gullit so far? Not really. He’s spent a lot of $$$ on fishy and the rest of the team is either old or inexperienced. It seems like he doesn’t understand the way MLS works.
