Mark Your Calendars for April 3

Time to mark your calendars. According to Steven Goff of SoccerInsider, the Galaxy’s first home game will be April 3 against the new Earthquakes. And of course it will be televised on ESPN2.
Was there ever any doubt?
The first game of the season will be the previous weekend at Colorado.

The SuperDraft is in January. Not sure of the date.
I haven’t checked bigsoccer in a few hours (ghasp!) but won’t be surprised to see Quakes supporters groups already planning their April 2 road trip.

Plans are already being made to transport a drunken rabble up to HDC from UCSD on April 3rd. It’s a good way to begin the quarter.

The MLS draft is at the national coaches assoc anual conference in Baltimore in January. Sorry I know where more than when.

Steve, the season starts the weekend before. First game is an away match.
