Well, DC lost and the MLS website says we are in the playoffs!!

I figured mathematically that if the other teams in contention won all their games we could still be out, but I realized they must play each other, which would make that impossible. So, we’re in.

Acutally, I kind of like it now because, unlike the Galaxy commentators, these commentators aren’t really Chivas USA fans, and they’re calling the game from a neutral perspective.

The official blog said that if Chivas wins or draws against DC, we’re in the playoffs. By the way, Kyle Martino is doing commentary for the Chivas broadcast of this game, which makes me upset.

So we are now top of the west for a day. Worst we can do in our conf is 5th place.

If DC loses tomorrow we are not quite mathematically in the playoffs but close. If Toronto loses next week too, then we are in.
