A MySpace Page for the LA Galaxy

Bob-the-Editor here at The Offside got the following e-mail, which he forwarded to me. It’s about a new MySpace page dedicated to the Galaxy.

And since I’m all about promoting soccer in America (that IS what I’m all about, right?) I’m going to pass this on without my customary sarcasm and snark.

Except for this: Damn, I’m old.

As you probably know David Beckham is now a member of the LA Galaxy. In attempt to grow the sport of soccer and the LA Galaxy we have launched a brand new MySpace for the LA Galaxy and would love it if you could check it out, become our friend and post it on your site. a) see my last comment re media, forgot to mention club/MLS PR depts
b) I'm OUTRAGED that the Galaxy is not contacting you directly, Laurie, and we thought you were SO close to a seat on the team bus
c) old: thought, a few weeks ago, of sending a note to Lalas through that site, instructing him on exactly how to handle the care and presentation of injured players and was too nervous to even click on...anything!...decrepit and probably pitiful...
