It’s his name, okay? And I didn’t make it up. I’m just…just…reporting, like a good blogger does.

Whenever I see Vagenas' name, I think of the entertainment column, One Day at a Time, which runs in the local weekly, The Portland Mercury. The author, Ann Romano (get it?), has such a time making cracks about celebrities flashing their "vaheenas" (see September 19 entry).

Man, that really is unfortunate. It's like a free pass for every other kid he grew up with. Sure, that one kid ate worms once, but come on ... Vagenas? Even with the correct pronunciation, I have to assume he got some crap.
