It would be disappointing to not see him play, but he and the Galaxy have got to be thinking long-term here. Maybe he should take up Quidditch? Less stress on the joints and all. I know he is thinking this based on what he said on the ESPN half time interview. He is here for 5 years. If he gets hurt trying to play in one game he could be out for another 6 weeks. In which case MLS and the Galaxy would really be screwed when the show up to an angry crowd of 45,000 at RFK due to a lack of Beckham. Let him rest, he himself said he is not ready. Skip the World Series of Football. All those games are going to sell out anyways. Give him another two weeks to rest and he'll be set to go for the next Galaxy road game.
