Its clear who writes the gossip columns, in case it wasn't before, if they didn't notice that Beckham's football buddies were busy getting their asses kicked in Milan that evening (they all play for ManU needless to say), so unless his own bday plans included that match he likely wasn't hoping to spend it with them.
