Beckham’s Back in Training

The Galaxy have been doing so well (relatively speaking,) I almost forgot that David Beckham is still on our roster.
(Okay, not really. But it sounds good, doesn’t it?)
So what’s David been up to now that his dad is out of the woods and he and Posh have returned to LA? You’ll never guess.
He’s training with the Galaxy. Yes, I’m serious. This morning he, “kicked the ball around and went through a few drills with his teammates in his first practice in more than a month.” Sounds promising, eh?
So is he really healthy? Or is MLS just trying to milk the cash cow a couple more times before the season ends?
Or…wait a second…
When does McLaren come out with the callup list for the next round of England games?
P.S. Yes, the photo is a couple of months old. And no, it has nothing to do with the story. Bud admit it: You’ve missed these kinds of pictures since he’s been injured, haven’t you?

wouldn’t that be interesting if Beckham (and Xavier) returns to playing w/ the team, they make the playoffs and end up winning the championship. it’s a crazy scenario, highly unlikely if they even make it into the playoffs, but who knows. the LAG have beaten DC United and FC Dallas when they were playing well, plus the team is starting to come together. But, then again at least they shouldn’t finish last in the league
