David Beckham’s father is reported to be “conscious and talking” two days after suffering a heart attack. …
David Beckham and his wife Victoria visited the hospital on Friday after flying in to the UK from overseas.
Ted Beckham is believed to have had surgery after suffering chest pains at his east London home on Wednesday. The 59-year-old reportedly had to be resuscitated by paramedics on the way to the hospital in Bethnal Green, east London.
And The Sun (okay, not so credible, but it’s a good story) reports that
DAVID BECKHAM’S Los Angeles Galaxy team-mates dedicated a rare victory to the England midfielder following his father’s heart attack.
Galaxy won away from home for the first time in more than a year, beating Kansas City Wizards 1-0 to keep their faint play-off hopes alive.
Coach Frank Yallop said: “The lads’ thoughts are with David and his father.”
