Because You Know You’ve Been Craving Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham Gossip

I know what you’ve been thinking. You’ve been thinking, “So. Laurie. You’ve taken a couple of shots at Landon Donovan’s wife Bianca. What about Posh? Or do you have an anti-American WAG* bias?”
And of course my answer is, No. Absolutely not. I have no WAG biases whatsoever. Or rather, I am thrilled to point out the occasional silliness of all WAGs, regardless of national origin. My reticence in my Posh-blogging comes from a different source. You see, before I could blog about Mrs. David Beckham, I needed to make a trip to Costco, where I could stock up on the giant economy sizes of Dramamine, Rolaids and Pepto Bismol. Which I did today. So. Yeah. I’m ready.
And oh, has our Posh been in the news. Let’s see.
David is officially banned from the Playboy mansion. The bunnies wanted to party, but Posh has said no way, no time, no how is he ever allowed to go there. I think the bunnies even had Hef throw in the possibility of a Victoria Beckham Playboy photo shoot to seal the deal. Still no go. (Okay, truly. Given the guy’s looks and history, can you blame her?)
And Victoria is officially launching her fragrance in the US. Because I know that I SO want to smell like Victoria Beckham.
And best of all, have you been keeping yourself up nights worrying that new BFFs Tom and Katie will convice David and Posh to sign up for Scientology? Well, fear not. Tom has been working hard to convice David that this could “help to lift him out of the blues over his football career.” But you can count on Victoria to be the voice of reason. According to “a source,” “Victoria is having none of it. She can’t see the point of joining something like that where you have to donate money.”
Because we all know that that’s what life is all about, eh, Posh?
*WAG = Wives And Girlfriends. If you’re going to love the sport, learn the lingo!
