Beckham to Capello: Neener, Neener, Fabio!
By: Laurie | February 11th, 2007How to you get back at a coach who’s done nothing but criticize you while keeping you on the bench?
How about equalizing the score with one of your gorgeous free kicks when you’re finally allowed to play. That’s a good start.
Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has been nothing bust nasty to our David Beckham since Becks signed with the Galaxy. Fabio wouldn’t let him out of his contract early, but he wouldn’t let him play, either. Beckham is thirty-one and the clock is ticking, so this has to sting.
But David had the last laugh this weekend when he scored against Sociedad. And the best part is? Rumor had it that Fabio’s job was on the line if Madrid lost this game. So who does he now owe his job to? Let’s see…that would be…David Beckham. Awkward!
So how will Fabio respond now? Keep Beckham on the bench, or eat crow and allow him to play? Either way it will be a little uncomfortable…
Heehee.

Haha that is a bit of an awkward situation.
I didn’t understand what the commentators were saying but I heard “Fabio Capello” and I think that was sufficient.

The plot thickens…I hadn’t checked the weekend’s results before I finished my last post, and I need to think about how this effects the situation, other than making it even more fun to talk about. Thank you for the props and the exposure, glorious exposure. And the frequent posts.
Viva Beckham!
