I would have said he’s watching the “action” but to each his own.

Hey now, be fair. You shouldn’t blame a guy for
looking at what there is to see.Posted from

Well at least we can expect David at Laker Games more often.

For those not looking at Becks or butts, the other fun part is that there is a photographer two feet away with his back to him. That must be worth moving to the States for, wouldn’t happen anywhere else.

I bet he’s wishing his wife’s ass was maybe half that size. Sucks to be married to a 10 year old boy in stilletos and a crap haircut.

SOS! Sorry to change the subject COMPLETELY but you’ll all understand when I say that I’m going to be in LA during the Champions League match on Tuesday and I may have to cancel the trip if it means missing the match. Any LA natives know where LFC fans gather to watch — preferably someplace that provides oxygen for those unable to breath on their own? Thanks, Diane

His wife was sitting right next to him and I think her body is smaller than that cheerleaders, and she has a little more going on up in the bra area than that cheerleader does. He is probably thinking how can she wear that. lol

Diane, if you don’t get a response, I’ll devote an entire post to your plight.

Diane,
Can’t answer the oxygen question but Ye Olde Kings Head in Santa Monica would be a good place to go.

Thanks Fitz, I’m mapquesting it as we speak and will try to practice remembering to breath! Laurie, you are so sweet…a whole post
. I just looked at the above picture and heard my GRANDFATHER(!) saying, you only stop looking once you’re dead. A word from the wise boys…and girls of course.

a few great places to watch the match in LA with a number of ex-pats. Whereabouts in LA are you?

She’s cute, I’d be watching the “game” as well.

z, I’ll be just below Glendale, but I don’t mind driving anywhere in 11:00a traffic (is it a terrible jinx to say that about traffic in L.A. at any time of day?). I appreciate any suggestions.

I hate such pics and discuss them as well…:(
So there is a new funny video of Becks playing with little kids and Romeo in his academy, you can hear his comments during this “match”. There is nothing better than happy kids!
One of the best videos I’ve ever seen with him

Mag, thank you so much for the link! It now truly rivals Becks-in-Gary Neville’s-kitchen for all time favorite off-pitch video(although Gaz’s kitchen may have been funnier). That was a great slice of life at the academy — judging from the one on one interview next to it, which was also really interesting, it looks like they might just have left his mike on afterwards.
(Old Becks fans all hate shots like the one above because we know what a field day particularly the UK tabs have with them.)

Fox and Hound on Ventura in Studio City is small but a good place to watch the game. Usually packed with real fans. There are some places on Sunset in Hollywood too. I’ve never been, but will be watching the ManU/Barca game there next week.

Diane
Ohhh…In 2003 when he moved to my favorite club Real Madrid I just thought Beckham is a stupid self obsessed guy with strange wife. My good friend (big MU fan) send me a link of “wooden spoons”…It changed my mind. This is my all time best video! If somebody still didn’t see Becks feeding Gary Neville and John O’shea:

Thanks so much for the LFC SOS responses everyone. Now I don’t have to cancel my trip!…phew. So far I have Ye Olde Kings Head and the Cock and Bull Pub both in Santa Monica, Fox and Hound in Studio City, and someone else told me about Joxer Daly’s in Culver City and Lucky Baldwin’s in Pasadena. So wherever I am Tuesday morning I’ll be set (just hope it ends up being near one that’s LFC partial or the entire suitcase of Red-wear might stick out a bit :).

Mag, that is the exact kitchen video that’s been my favorite for years. Only the other guy being fed is Dave Gardner. The documentary its from was made in 2000 when John O’Shea wasn’t really in the first team yet. For more fun here is a slightly longer version of the clip that starts a little sooner and has the most hilarious bit of Becks and Gardner playing golf — with a famous quote from Becks regarding exactly HOW much less nervous he is playing football than anything else:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ml4idD-QCm8For anyone bored and bio-loving, that youtube poster has the rest of the documentary up in parts as well — interesting look at how much (more tattoos and babies?) and how little the Galaxy captain has changed.
