Cobi Jones is Retiring. Are We Surprised?

Yesterday’s big Cobi Jones Announcement?
Apparently the 36-year-old Cobi is retiring at the end of the season. Did I (and, well, okay, everybody else in the universe) call it or what?
Or, in the immortal words of my brother-in-blog Sam:
Retirement, D freaking uh.
But on the bright side, I get the opportunity to post another smiling Cobi picture. And while I’m at it, I’ll link to a couple of good Cobi Jones articles.

I have never liked Cobi but I will always admire him for taking the ball into the corner in the 2002 World Cup and killing the clock while his opponents beat the hell out of him.
