I say:
Hahahahahah! Good one Chris! Like non-league really. That’s awesome. You mean like Tim Howard at Everton and Bobby Convey and Marcus Hahneman at Reading? Teams that finished in the top half of the EPL?

Granted MLS is not near the top leagues in Europe, but it isn’t that far either. I’d rate the league more like the Danish or Norwegian top leagues, or maybe even like the rest of the French League One.

But non-league? Hahahaha! Stick to Irish futbol. Maybe you can give us an update on Hurling and Gaelic Football.

Hey im from uk and have watched and trained with usa players who have moved over here, unfortunatly though your leage would be a rather drop in class…..lets say the equivalent of 5 leagues in england (like playing non league really!) i think becks made the right decision at the time to go but looking now and how he is playing it is far to early and would be an injustice for him to have to play his best days in this league! also with england calling and the manager looking to defy him the 100 caps (cuz lets face it, if he refuses friendlies the manager will say bye bye!) i think its best for all involved that he looks to go elsewhere! good luck with your league but we want our becks back please

I was reading somewhere that his Madrid teammates were bemoaning the fact that Beckham’s move to the MLS was too early. Ruud van Nistelrooy was saying that Beckham still had a few years left to play at the highest level and wishes he could go to the MLS later.

Ouch. I don’t think the MLS will appreciate that.

Wiz, doesn’t RSL at least still have a DP spot? Doesn’t spending that give them something to look forward to? So who’s the more hopeless team really? Plus they’ll be $6.5 million richer than we will at the end of the season when we both miss the playoffs.

I am trying to decide what’s worse: the anticipation of something big about to happen-then having it snatched from you while at the bottom of the table (ie. Galaxy fan) or having no hope of…anything while at the bottom of the table (ie. RSL fan) I think I would rather have the hope.
