Galaxy 4, Bermuda 0
By: Laurie | February 25th, 2007The LA Galaxy website is on the ball today. Only a 24-hour wait for this one. Way to go, Galaxy website folks!
And I am so taking back my “wimps” characterization. The Galaxy did play Friday night against the Bermuda National Team, and they did it battling “extreme winds and the occasional rain shower.” Way to man up, guys. And they won in the process, 4-0, which has to take a little of the sting out of Thursday’s loss to the New England Revolution. (Too bad we don’t have a Bermuda National Team blogger I could have made a bet with…)
It looks like the Galaxy bosses took the opportunity to try out some of the newer players. No Landon Donovan or Cobi Jones in sight. But draft picks Ty Harden and Robbie Findley played the entire game, as did the French open tryout pick Laurent Merlin.

(All together, ladies: Ooh, the French guy!!)
First half goals by Gavin Glinton and Michael Randolph, second half goals by Robbie Findley and John Thorrington (and it looks like we had an assist from…yes…the French guy!)
Ooh, the French guy!!
Los Angeles Galaxy Lineup: Steve Cronin, Ty Harden, Zack Kirby, Kiel McClung, Gordon Kljestan, Kevin Harms (Josh Gardner 17′), John Thorrington, Mike Randolph, Robbie Findley, Gavin Glinton (Santino Quaranta 46′), Laurent Merlin.
(And for female readers younger than I, the picture is of…yes…the French guy.)
