Galaxy Fans, Do You Want to See Something Cute?
By: Laurie | June 28th, 2007This is starting to feel like pre-season, with nothing going on and not a thing to write about. For lack of anything else to keep me occupied, I’m finding myself again turning to the official Galaxy website.
No! Wait! It’s not that bad! Honestly! Do you want to see an adorable set of pictures?
Click here. It’s our guys visiting Children’s Hospital. And they’re actually smiling!
(I thought they’d forgotten how.)
One comment, however. I think it’s wonderful that so many of the guys took their time to do this. I truly do. But check out the Abel Xavier picture. Yes, he looks amazingly sweet and tender there. But still, I just have to say: If you were a sick little kid, is this a face you’d want looming over you? Seriously. I’ll bet the orderlies had to follow him from room to room changing sheets when he was done.
But this kind of thing is so touching that it can almost make you forget their record.
Almost.
