Even though the guy admits to having trouble sitting still and is fairly game, that's a pretty steady clip. If, as the article says, the deal is contingent on Beckham traveling with the Galaxy, if I were them I would consult with everyone and three augers before I promised him that week. Love him or hate him, we can't forget that Beckham is going to be flogged to the hilt (in promotional terms those of you whose sick minds wandered) by the Galaxy and even if that gives him a different role, he's still a member of the team so we should probably be as worried about him burning out as any of the other players. All of whom I am worried about at all times, btw.
