You gotta love your colors, cuz it’s the only thing that stays from year to year. Exception being the Galaxy, which changes its colors as well. The league may as well throw all its players into a pool and do a complete draft every off-season.

The Galaxy need to dial down the turnover rate by finding solid and consistent talent. They desperately need team chemistry. Can Lalas and Bravo get the job done? I guess we are in the process of finding out.

Go into http://images.google.com. Type in “Josh Tudela.” Click on the link (you’ll know which one I’m talking about) and see where it takes you.

As I said, I am so ashamed. It is ALL Jeff Bull’s fault for coming up with the nickname. (Although I will say that when he’s clean-shaven — Josh, not Jeff — , and especially with the headband, the resemblance isn’t nearly so striking.)

Martino is a turnover king, dribble, dribble, dribble; oh no double team turnover. Jazic, broken till summer and ineffective when healthy, Harmse just flat out sucks, Vagena is replaced by younger and better; my only regret will be if we drop Kelly Grey. That guy is good, just him some time over Moncheche (Tudela, sorry the guy looks like those Moncheche cartoons from the 80’s). This is more moves set up by Gullit and his actual knowledge of talent and how to put a team together. Lalas is just happy he has someone near him who can recognize talent. Most of the players leaving are Yallops anyway. The team is going to be stronger, faster, more talented, and more successful. I am sure starting to like this “Sexy Futbol”!

I think Metro once stripped their roster to under 11 total players regardless of when they were signed. I think the Galaxy have been high but I do not believe they hit the record.

WOW. That is investigative reporting. With a team in such flux facing a MOUNTAIN to climb this year, its a wonder if the Beckham experiment will EVER take off the way we had all hoped for.
