And Gordon blows...The Galaxy still have lacked a 3rd Striker for too long.

Eddie Lewis is too slow for MLS. He doesn't offer much more than Ely Allen at this point. Eddie is the weak link because of his lack of footspeed. The Galaxy needs Landon on the Left Wing just as the US National Team does.

jen, that makes sense. Birchall just seems to have a great ability to cause disruption in the midfield... I really hope this was a KC-game only problem and not something more. Miglioranzi is a good player, but I think Birchall is better overall.

Overall, I love the fact that we're talking about how deep this Galaxy team is instead of why Ely Allen is our only left mid option... oh how a year and a new coach can change things...

I can't believe both Buddle and Eskandarian were out at the same time, that was the worst case scenario. Magee and Gordon combo just doesn't work.

Colin, I'm not sure why Birchall isn't getting more time. It may have had to do with the size of the field and him being a better long ball player who hasn't had much time to mesh with the team.

I've been getting the feeling that Miglioranzi is Bruce's pet. We'll see if that's the case.

Gordon's first touch has always been garbage, which is why he shouldn't be starting... it seems like the Galaxy lacked creativity in the final third and I attribute that to Magee and Gordon.

I was a little bit surprised not to see Birchall in the game. Any reason as to why he's not starting (or at least getting significant playing time)?

we should have gotten 3 points there, but in the 2nd half we just seemed to not click and ran out of gas.

I felt like I was watching a volleyball game on a matchbook. Add to that the commentary by Lalas and what's-his-face . . . well, it put me in a sour mood. I think there was a total of 10 minutes of the two actually calling the game.

I'm glad we at least got the point.

I could see how frustrated Beckham was getting with the passing. One of the first rules of passing is to make the easy pass and move the ball around while waiting for openings. DeLaGarza (love the boy, but not so much last night) kept sending these loooong balls and crosses to Gordo, who had his Frankenstein shoes on again. Time and again this happened while Beckham was standing 20 yards in front of him, wide open. Give Beckham the damn ball people! The man can PLAY, and he certainly can cross better than AJ.

What I would have given to be there though. Talk about an intimate setting! I loved being able to hear the players on the field -- better than any other broadcast this season. Loved it when Hartman yelled, "What is this SHIT!?!" in regards to the streamers. Hee-hee.
