While I hope the Galaxy win out (which is entirely possible), they can still grab that #2 spot in the West if they don’t. 2-1-1 should get it done, considering how Seattle, Chivas USA, and Colorado don’t seem to be making any serious headway lately. Houston will win the conference unless the Galaxy win out, but we should be happy with #2…

The next four games are crucial to the Galaxy’s playoff hopes. In fact they should all be treated as playoff games since three out of four are against certain playoff contender. If the boys can get results home to Chicago and away to Houston and Columbus then they are the real deal and ready for October/November.

If they can’t, then they have precious little time to figure it out.

Thought the game was good. The Galaxy attacked when they needed to and got the job done. Backline looked great. Can’t wait to get AJDLG back healthy and into the line up. Put Franklin back at center with the rook, and Aj back at right. Should be amazing. Todd Dunivant is truly an unsung hero as far as I’m concerned. Stellar defender, gets the action started the other way and rtotally capable of making the overlapping run, instigating, attacking and finishing. I don’t even know where to begin with the midfield. To quote myself from the stands on Saturday night, “Miglioranzi coughs up more balls than Richard Simmons.” Klein needs to start a few games in place of Lewis. Eddie is tired and it is showing. I liked seeing Becks get fired up and try to make a statement through his play. I’d love to see it from Landon as well. Dude, Birchall? WTF? Where did that performance come from? He was everywhere and he played smart. Fantastic. Buddle looked good. Like Buddle. We’ll see how he progresses. Im hoping that he has learned to fight for the ball in order to maintain possession, and not just when he has the opportunity to score. That could be key to the next few games. Landon made some good runs and seemed to be everywhere he was needed to be, but I just want to see him take the game over.
Again, overall, good solid game. But now, I want to watch these boys completely, totally and ruthlessly BITCH-SLAP a few teams in these last four games. Really hope it happens.

Berhalter still has a few plays every game that makes me want to pull my hair out. Bad passes out of the back, the worst one was when his man got past him and Omar saved his @ss, berhalter then started yelling at Omar but the Rookie yelled right back! lol I can not wait for Berhalter to be off this team.

Gordon actually came on for Buddle very late but Buddle
played almost the entire match. He looked a little
rusty and seem gassed about about 75 minutes but overall
much better than the other options.

I thought Beckham played the best match I’ve seen him
play in a Galaxy uniform. He was hustling up and
down the field and showed fire and determination.

I think the only weak point was Miglioranzi who had some
horrible turnovers.

Franklin looked fantastic considering he hasn’t played
in four months or something like that.

I really thought Berhalter had a fantastic match.
