Mark, I agree 100%.

I just figured I'd throw the Lakers in there, since I think if I mention 2 AEG-owned entities in the same comment I win a prize, like a Tim Leiweke-signed toilet plunger or ear plugs or something.

Nathan and I were using the nickname "The Running Man" for Jordan. I think it's a good one because he runs like hell and plays with heart, but hasn't done much else.

I'm with you too, Mark.

I'd like to see Jordon get some time in as forward as well. Becks and Donovan can EASILY put some beautiful balls into space for him, and there's almost no one in this league who can touch his speed. I don't know if the finish would be there, but I'd like to see him get a chance to try.

I agree with just about everything you said, Mark. I wish that Arena would tell the fans what he is thinking, cause if often doesn't make much sense to us fans.

Hey Colin, yes, you are absolutely correct, the Lakers did lose a few ugly games on their way to the championship. However, the lakers also had two top players WHO KNEW WHEN TO STEP UP AND TAKE CONTROL OF THE GAME. They have a coach who understands the difference between a player who can fill a position, and a position player that can make a difference.

Much as I complain about Gordo, I agree that I'd put him in over Jovan. I noticed Birchall was listed as an unused sub over the weekend. Maybe he's not healthy enough to get some time in. Better than Migz?

I don't know why, but I keep thinking about Scotty's quote in the midst of the chaos on the bridge in the new Star Trek movie: "I like this ship; it's exciting."

I have to agree with Colin. Plus if we free up
a roster spot by putting Eskandarian on the DL
we should look for another attacker.

Wow. I was at the HDC and then I watched the 2nd half, 3 times, when I got home. YOU HAVE TO HAND IT TO DALLAS, for exploiting our slower players. Berhalter, Sanneh and Omar are just too slow and don't anticipate quickly enough to be effective. AJDLG was on fire. Dunnivant had a VERY solid game, and Omar was good for the first 55 minutes. Berhalter just cannot keep up with anyone who runs straight at him. Why not bring on Leo Griffin? And then, why wait so long to sub-out Lewis and Kirovski? Why Kirovski at all? I would gladly take Gordon over Kirovski any day. In the grand scheme, Gordo's "poor" handling skills, are no worse, if even as bad as, Kirovski's muppet tactics everytime he touches the ball. Plus, with Gordo, you get some physical play and someone who will try to attack. Jordan needs a start. If the rumors are true, and Alecko is done for life because of the concussion, why not give the Gordon/Jordan, Gordon/Buddle, Buddle/Jordan, Donovan/Buddle, Donovan/Jordan combos some time? It was me questioning the existence of pictures of the Bruce with a Goat? Miserableanzi needs to go. He might be a great guy, and really love So Cal, but he is killing any momentum we might ever gain in the midfield.

Move on boys, figure out your mistakes, and move on. This game will be remembered when Chivas and whoever else win their "in-hand" games and leave us needing a win on the last day to make the playoffs.

Let's not blow this up to something it's not. The loss was ugly, but the Lakers lost some ugly games on the way to their championships too. Sometimes games just go that way.

Sure, the defense was spotty at best, but it doesn't delete the great defensive performances that we've seen throughout the season. It's just ONE GAME! I think the guys will bounce back against TFC and get the 2nd spot in the Western Conference.

With all of our guys healthy, we can go far in the playoffs. Let's not shoot the horse just because he tripped in the race (bad analogy, I know).
