It was the other way around. Dempsey was suspended by the Revs for punching out Joey Franchino. It also cost him some National Team callups. Franchino was the captain of the team at the time. I don't care for him either, but lets keep our facts straight before we condemn the guy. I know he's had some off-field issues last year and I hope beyond all hope he's got them ironed out. Maybe some new scenery will be helpful to him and he, in turn, can help the Galaxy. I suppose if I can welcome Carlos Ruiz to the team, I can accept Joey Franchino as well. We are amassing the most hated team in the league.
