Landon Donovan Is MLS Player of the Week

I suppose that if there’s a benefit to being inconsistent, it’s that when you’re really on (after being really off) you impress the hell out of everybody all over again.

Maybe that’s the lesson of Landon Donovan. Because according to CBCSports our Landon has deservedly been named MLS Player of the Week for his fantastic performance on Saturday against Chivas USA. This is the fifth time in seven seasons that he’s received the accolade.

Yea, Landon! Nobody deserves it more!

Oh, and Landon? If you were to play like this every week?

We would NOT start to take you for granted. Not ever.
