beautiful goal easily the GOTW and I agree with the rest, GOTY candidate.

Oh wow, even my husband clicked the link (miracle), watched the goal (another miracle), and actually voted for him. He keeps track of soccer (and this blog) about as well as I keep track of the World Series of Poker standings. (That is, of course, his thing, although I'm getting pretty good at the game.)

Nah, there was no deflection. A deflection, by the laws of physics, would have to alter the spin on the ball as well as the trajectory. Which it doesn't. That was a clean strike, whizzed by the defenders head without touching him. Strong candidate for GOTY, IMO.

A really great goal. *Slight* deflection but the curve he put on that was awesome.

Did anyone notice that we are tied with Columbus for least amount of losses in MLS? WAY TO GO DEFENSE!!!

I happened to turn on the game minutes before that goal. That was beautiful!
