Let’s Take A Look at the Beckham Boot that is Coming to LA

Didn’t I recently read that goal celebrations were going to be banned? Including the basic, usual, pull-the-shirt-over-the-face kind of goal celebrations?

Well, that would be a good thing. Because I started to blog about Beckham’s return, and his free kick that led to a Real Madrid goal. And I was in the middle of writing about what this means to LA, and how this will improve our thus far rather miserable season… But then I got involved in YouTube, and Sergio Ramos’s abs and his flowing locks and his kneeling embrace with Torres got me all distracted and I lost my train of thought. Damn him and his goal celebrations. Bring on that celebration ban so I can continue my serious work as a soccer blogger!

But I am back and blogging now, and Beckham is back, too! He played in his first game this weekend since the knee injury and was a major contributor to Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Valencia. Let’s take a look, shall we?
