The seat isn't in the middle of the Screaming Eagles/Barra Brava per se, but it IS in the middle of the spill over section for both fan groups. Based on the seating the last time I was there I'm going to be in the thick of it as long as I'm anywhere in my section. I figured I'd join them toward the front where I can take better photos anyway. If I find any Galaxy supporters there I will hightail it to their section pronto!
