No News But Beckham News

There is nothing going on these days that doesn’t involve Beckham, so let’s catch up on David, shall we?

Seems our Becks was mistaken for a car thief in England. Because I know I personally have always found his looks a bit suspect.

Eyewitnesses have reported seeing police pull over a black 4×4 vehicle and talking with the former England football captain, who has a property in Sawbridgeworth, for about 15 seconds before he was allowed to drive off.

An Essex Police spokesman said: “We did a routine stop on a black 4×4 vehicle to check that the driver owned the car. Once we established this to be the case he was allowed to continue his journey.”

Aside from that, all we have is the Snoop Dog reality show, where Becks supposedly teaches soccer to Snoop’s kids. Here’s the video. Probably not the place to say this, but I've wanted to for quite a while.

Beckham is to the MLS (or the Galaxy) as a free toaster is to a new checking account at the bank. It's nice to have, but it's not the reason you go.

In my opinion the MLS (and the USMNT) has a lot of great players. Beckham is akin to the little blinking lights on the front of your stereo. They capture your attention but they don't need to be there to get it to work.

Okay..nuff said.

Well except...

I'm really gonna miss watching Cobi play!
