I turned to my friends and said, "That would have been PERFECT." I loved, loved seeing Torres come into the game. He reminds me so much of Mauricio Cienfuegos, but with the potential to be even better. Hated the noncall reach around on Casey in the second half. Thankfully we pulled it out anyway. I think Casey's miss right at 9:00 was the worst miss of the match--especially with the significance and all. I guess one would also assume Casey to miss those while Jozy should bury those chances. That being said Jozy was the best player on the field and Michael Bradley was the worst. I was there too! I was teaching last night and had to leave at halftime when they were down 2-0. I was shocked to see the scoreline when I got home! Looking forward to watching second half with a glass of wine tonight with my husband out of town. :-) I'm kind of heartbroken for Costa Rica (I like them better than Honduras), but I'd rather see US take a point.
