It is certainly bad for the Galaxy, but it solves the DP dilemma and frees up some room in the cap. Does it also mean they get an allocation? If so, that might be useful. And how awesome for him to have all the pieces fitting perfectly in his play. We still have yet to see his fullest potential when he has multiple world class players working with him. You get glimpses of it on the USMNT, but I believe he has so much more to offer the game than what we've seen. I absolutely agree Nicole. Donovan fits in great with that team. I don't know if anyone knows, but on the 2nd day of training they had a scrimmage - first team v. second team - and LD lined up alongside Luca Toni on the first team. First team won, of course, 6-1 and LD scored 4 goals: 2 with left foot, 1 header and 1 right foot. Much as I'd miss him playing for the Galaxy, I really hope this happens. I want to see what he can do when surrounded by a team of high-quality players. It's the ideal situation for him: he wouldn't be the star, just an important cog in the wheel of a great team.
