Actually, I’m seeing a Super Bowl drinking game here. A shot for every mumbled Beckham word you don’t understand. (I shouldn’t even say this. Now I’ll be responsible for a rash of alcohol poisonings across the US.)

That is HILARIOUS. The scary thing is that when the little boys ran onto the stage, I actually thought “That kid looks like Dec!” Only then did I realize who the hosts were. Sigh.

Ant and Dec, btw, are huge, long-suffering Newcastle fans. Thus, the contract the mini-me’s had Beckham sign was not (as you might expect) a mean-spirited mocking of Becks and the Toon, but rather an actual, albeit hilarious, effort to improve NUFC. Which is sad on a dozen different levels.
