Sorry, Ladies. I’m Too Late for Valentine’s Day

When you’ve arrived at Walgreen’s, (front and center of their ad, no less!) you’ve truly arrived.

Too bad I didn’t discover this till after Valentine’s day. Sorry, ladies. Had I been on the ball and scouring Walgreen’s ads, you could have caused your man to smell like Beckham.

Do you think he actually wears this stuff? Somebody research this and get back to me.

Diane, I found a bigger and better version of the ad. I'll post it tomorrow and then EVERYBODY will see the ring. (Aside from those who are mesmerized by Beckham's eyes... As for me, I noticed the ring.)

True. Even my husband just pointed out that I am the only woman (plus whomever) on earth that will notice there is a ring in the ad--or possibly even a bottle, or a drugstore, or a point. It's my curse as a proofreader...

I'll call up Beckham Laurie and ask if he wears that. If I can't get a hold of him I'll ask Tom Cruise - he'll know.

Well, according to BigSoccer (which knows ALL,) the Puerto Rico thing is a preseason tournament March 23-25. But as of yesterday I didn't see anything on the Galaxy website, so I'll see if I can't find something more official. Perhaps it's a reserve team event?

And as to the ad... Since when does anything about Beckham have to MEAN anything? Is it not enough that he just IS? (At least for those who are, y'know, into that kind of thing.);-)

I KNEW I could find someone I could ask--lovely photo (Instinct Ad), but what does it MEAN? Who is getting the ring..and what does that have to do with instincts? I know, who cares but...if anyone does...
Just to show that I'm not shallow, AS magazine has an article about a tournament in Puerto Rico that the Galaxy are to be part of--is this Super Liga? Thought that was all in the States?
