Fabrice Noel has already been in MLS. The Rapids signed him in June 2005 out of high school. He scored once that year in October against the Earthquakes. He was cut in 2007 and picked up by the Puerto Rico Islanders.

Based on his play in the Gold Cup and with the Islanders (on their surprise run deep into last year’s CCL tournament) he probably warrants a second look. But teams will be a bit skeptical based on his two years in Colorado.

After watching the USA’s last gold cup game the kid Fabrice Noel should be on some MLS radars. He was playing a team full of MLS players and was causing problems. I would love if we called him in for a trial.
