The Tabloids Say Becks Should Come Save LA Right NOW!

This is one of those tabloid articles where the headline/intro and the body of the article are kind of at odds. Because the intro part of the article says:
DAVID BECKHAM is being urged to cut short his holiday and rescue LA Galaxy.
Which is not all that unreasonable. Except that the rest of the article doesn’t really quote anybody saying that. The closet we come is Abel Xavier saying:
“We really need Beckham’s help to get us up the table in the MLS. I am convinced his arrival will help us progress a great deal.”
Which is, of course, true. But it’s not exactly begging him for an early arrival.
But if Beckham were to read the headline and intro and take them to heart and ignore the rest of the article? I’d be okay with that.
Hey, David! Cut short your holiday and rescue LA Galaxy!!
