Long story short, he had a great chance to make the team, suffered a pretty bad ankle injury, I believe, right before cuts were made, so he didn’t make it.

But he trains with the team, every practice and game. He’s not on contract, but very much a part of the team. Personally, I’d be surprised if he wasn’t playing some toward the end of the year, I think he’s a very underrated player.
