U.S. vs. Mexico

Yes, I know, not Galaxy related (except for Donovan’s USMNT presence), but I’m super excited to watch the game tonight and had to post something.

*Here is a review by our very own LA Times’ Grahame Jones, the Andy Rooney of soccer writing. He generally rivals my mother with his “glass 9/10 empty” analysis. This article isn’t quite that bad.

I’ll get to watch the game in HD while my husband puts the kids to bed. He’s a good man!

  Laurie! I should know this, but is Columbus turf? Those squeegies definitely looked like they were rolling over the fake stuff.

  I think it’s grass. But you’re right — the squeegee thing made it look artificial.

  Btw, great assist from Donovan! It may have been Baby Bradley’s goal, but it was Landon who turned it from a garbage corner into a goal-scoring opportunity.
