Vote for Kyle Martino for Goal of the Week

Come on, people. This just won’t do. Kyle Martino’s beautiful goal from Saturday night is up for Sierra Mist goal of the week, and it’s currently ranked fifth out of five. I’m expecting you to go in and vote. And do it fast, because they’re announcing the goals on Wednesday. Got it?

Personally I think Martino should win the “best save by a non-goalkeeper” award. But for some reason Sierra Mist hasn’t offered that one.

Actually, I’d make the argument that Dichio is winning because of the TFC fans. I bet you dollars-to-donuts that every time a TFC player is nominated, he’ll be in at least the top two because each and every TFC fan will go to the website and vote. I really hope they can sustain this level of fandom beyond an expansion season – they give me a lot of hope for MLS.
