as a Becks - the Footballer - fan only (yeah such people exist) I would highly appreciate it if you could do a seperate blog or section for all the brand and vicotira, paparazzi etc stuff ?

I don't mind if you write about these things, but your Galaxy blog is good enough otherwise - it doesn't need the "entertainment" element IMO and I don't want to read trough it.

cheers

Laurie, your last post reaffirms the class act that I know you are. Not because you directly responded to my comments, but because you stated your position in an intelligent and valid manner without attacking those of us that disagreed with you. Although I do see what you mean about the “Beckham Brand,” I still believe the Beckhams, parents of three sons, are good people that truly do things from the heart. One example of this is a small but significant act that David Beckham did this past January. During the media storm of his $250 million contract, Beckham took it upon himself to call a young Canadian girl dying of cancer. Days after their conversation the girl received an autographed Real Madrid jersey and an offer to reach out to him if ever she needed anything. For the entire story check out check out the article at http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=reu-beckhamgesturedc&prov=reuters&type=lgns. I know this gesture does not exactly qualify him for sainthood, but you must agree that it is evidence of the class act that Beckham truly is. Although I know you will continue to be the watchdog of “Brand Beckham,” I hope this example gains him kudos along with your respect.

It was SO exciting seeing my name in print!!! What I really meant to say was: gracious note, nice summary of Beckham the player and MLS our hopes for. Also good point about fun diversion. I have some other thoughts but only got my hands on the computer for a few seconds and owe you a link or two as it is, so I'll save thoughts in case subject comes up again.
