So let's put ALL other concerns aside. I'm sure being pilloried in the press here won't give the Beckhams a moment of culture shock, but David's been playing in Europe all his life, and he's used to more smooching and hugging and clinging and crying on the pitch than we see at most weddings. I can only imagine the kind of withdrawal a person could go through if faced with sudden deprivation. I've tried to check whether MLS is up to the standard but U.S. TV doesn't seem to linger on the celebrations and I haven't been able to get to a match in person to further my researches. So, should I be concerned or are the MLS boys as good in the clinch as the rest of the world? So many players, so much to worry about...
