FC Dallas Preview

By: jen | May 16th, 2008

landondallas.jpgWhen: Sunday, 12pm Pacific

Where: Pizza Hut Park (I wonder if they have good hotdogs.)

What To Expect: In brief, I think it’s going to be a high intensity game. Lots of fouls. And as you know from last season, this is Laurie’s favorite team.

Mark Rogondino has a good preview up on the Galaxy site. I have nothing new to add — and a busy weekend ahead. As always, add your thoughts, and I’ll see you on Sunday.

I’m sad, the link does not work for me, so I can only listen to it… I will catch it on tivo when I get home. It sounds like a good ol’ fashion ass kickin.. But there is a second half to play.

    Gooooool! Goooooool! Goooooooooool! Gooooooooooooooool!

Holy craptasm, batman, I’m so stoked! I got back late, turned on the teevee in the 20th minutes and then dropped the Corona… I hope the heat doesn’t kill the complete rout…

Now it’s half and I have to go cleanup the beer mess. I can’t believe how we have numbers on the ball everywhere… every space is getting filled and vindication for Edson Buddle!

Pizza Slut… it’s the greasy crust that keeps on giving and giving and giving.

    Back to it…

5-1, great win on the road. damn, serioux is an a-hole. Hopefully MLS will sit him out a few games.

too bad they’re not giving Donovan credit for his goal. davino just deflected it. he should get credit for it in my opinion.

Okay, here’s what it takes for the Galaxy to win and win big. I need to not watch the game. :-( (I had to go do family stuff today.)

Anybody have a torrent source for me to download it, or any way for me to watch it?

what up peeps! i. loved. that. game. got back from frisco a little while ago but i had to take a shower. it was FREAKIN hot(but thankfully there were periodic breezes to bring relief), needless to say we were all sweaty. plus we were sitting below & to the left of guardia roja, so i had to get the confetti out of my bra. :) yup, even got caught in a few streamers too! totally awesome atmosphere. as the game was getting ready to start, david was @ midfield on our side. many fans (including myself) shouted & cheered for him. he flashed his oh-so-sexy smile at us. in fact, i had the pleasure of seeing him smile several times as the galaxy stunned the hoops in the first half. an fc dallas fan across the aisle from me was so upset he was intensely shouting that he should get his money back because of fc’s poor performance. i sat there pretty smugly and said to my friend, “not me. i’m getting my money’s worth!” and whaddya know, edson with his hat trick?! sweet! and…i know cronin makes people nervous, but i have to give him credit for some saves in the first half, especially the one in the 16th-some-odd minute…he was “big” there. 2nd half…well, i wasn’t as closely in-tuned due to my being on my celebratory 3rd beer & having fun with friends. however, things got exciting real fast when becks got taken down. hoops people booed & became hostile when serioux was sent off. whatever. as david waved…buh-bye.

na, na, na, na…hey, hey, hey…goodbye.
