I'm a bit worried about how they're going to place everybody on the field after Beckham arrives. Yallop earlier was saying 4-3-3, with Beckham in center midfield. And I'm guessing Buddle, Pavon and Donovan starting up front? If Beckham were to adjust well, this could be great. But everything I've seen says that Beckham's a whole lot better and more comfortable at right mid. So what if he's not up to the challenge of playing in the middle? Then who goes where? And where does Martino fit in, if at all?

I'm thinking we're not done with our growing pains this season.

Gotta say, the goalkeeping has been a liability. I have seen Cronin (the backup) play once this season, and he was great. The second goal was a total Cannon Catastrophe. The guy is slow off his line and his decision making on set pieces is usually bad. By the way, Yallop's determination to play Donovan out wide was a poor one. He needs to see a lot of the ball and they don't get it wide to him nearly enough.

The mistakes that led to KC's goals were the fault of a player we didn't need (Chris Klein) and a goalkeeper we didn't need (Cannon).
