Beckham has only played or practiced sporadically for over four months now. Still, he was missing parts of his game that stay with him even when he doesn't have his legs or wind back yet. It all points to the foot to me. Which means that no matter how much polishing and cardio he does between now and Saturday, if it is injury that's effecting his form... As much as I've loved Randolph's play ll season, he was Dane Richards's B^%ch last night. Thank goodness that guy didn't do as much damage as he could've. 2) Landon was nails last night. great surging runs, deft first touches. Possibly his best match of the year. 3) Becks was okay at best, looked rusty. A bit unfair to put the savior role on him after a 6-week layoff. He needs to start Sunday, though. It's for all the marbles. 4) Yallop has made brilliant subs of late, until...Why bring off Vagenas for Becks, leaving Tudela on instead of the veteran Vagenas? Thought that was a bit of a mistake.
