Hey! You Can Play With Beckham! Hurry, Before It’s Too Late!
By: Laurie | January 24th, 2007Two days ago, the registration for LA Galaxy Open Tryouts was closed. Yesterday it seemed to be open again. So hurry! Before it’s too late!
Click on this link and you, too, could have the opportunity to play for the LA Galaxy! Right alongside David Beckham! (And I’m sure you’d make just as much money as he will. Be sure to hold out for a percentage of merchandise and ticket sales, okay?)
That’s right, the LA Galaxy are holding open tryouts. All you need to do is visit the site, type in the info, send them $130, and clear your calendar on February 10 and 11. They’re not even screening for quality. First come, first serve.
My favorite part of the form:
Please list any major injuries suffered in the last five years and the years in which they occured. (Limit to 100 words)
And if you have to go over 100 words? Well, can I watch your tryout?
Somebody, please, please go do this and report back to me! (I would totally go for it myself except that I’m a) female, b) old and c) can’t play soccer. If not for those little details, I would be SO there.)
